Open Scanara and point your camera at the page. The app automatically detects the document's edges, then auto-crops and corrects the perspective so you get a clean, straightened scan. You can capture several pages in a row to build a multi-page document.

After you scan a page, tap to extract its text. The page image is sent securely to our cloud function, which uses AI (Anthropic's Claude vision) to read it and return editable text you can copy, search, and reuse. Accuracy is high but not guaranteed, so it's worth a quick review.

When you sign in, your scans and extracted text are backed up and synced to your account using Google Firebase. This keeps them safe across your devices, even if you lose your phone.

You can delete individual scans from inside the app, or delete your entire account to remove all of your scans and extracted text. Need help? Email us and we'll take care of it.

Yes — scanning, PDF export, and cloud sync are free, and you get a few AI text extractions to try. Scanara Pro (an optional subscription) unlocks unlimited AI extraction, structured data, document chat, and CSV/searchable-PDF export. See the Pricing page for details.

Pro gives you unlimited AI text extraction, structured data extraction (turning receipts and invoices into fields you can export as CSV), chat with your documents, searchable PDF export, and folders, tags, and full-text search. It's $4.99/month or $29.99/year.

Scanara Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your App Store or Google Play account. You can manage or cancel it anytime from your device's subscription settings — it renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

Scanara runs on iPhone and Android. The interface is available in English and Indonesian.
